Special message from Jacob Espinoza

In partnership with

Y’all remember this guy?!

I am hyped to share a message from Jacob Espinoza, the founder of Leader’s Lens, the local media agency What’s Happening Salem, and now author of the book Can Parties Save the World?

Personally, I am very hyped to be a part of this group! My goal is to leverage the knowledge from The Local Social Club to highlight BIPOC businesses and Initiatives within the Willamette Valley (from Portland to Eugene and neighboring cities in Oregon)!

If you are interested in hyping up what’s going on in your community, read on!

I launched The Local Social Club two days ago.

15 of the 25 founder spots are already filled.

Here's what they're building: local media companies that connect their communities and generate real revenue.

Not another side hustle. A way to become the person who gets things done in your city.

You already know your community needs better information. Better connection. Someone who actually highlights what's working instead of just complaining about what isn't.

The question isn't whether there's a need.

The question is: are you going to be the one who fills it?

What's Happening Salem went from 0 to 40,000 followers and $10K/month in 19 months because Salem needed someone to show up consistently and connect people to what matters locally.

Your city needs the same thing.

  • How to build an audience that trusts you (without spending years figuring it out)

  • How to turn that trust into revenue (newsletters, partnerships, local business advertising)

  • How to become a community leader who actually moves things forward

  • How to make your city a better place while building a significant income stream

This isn't about becoming an influencer.

It's about becoming influential in the place you live.

The people who've already joined aren't waiting for permission. They're not waiting for the local newspaper to get better or the chamber to finally understand social media.

They're building the solution themselves.

The things that are recognized are repeated.

If you start recognizing what's great about your community, others will too.

And you'll get paid to do it.

Would love to see you there!

Jacob
